XI INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL FORUM

Safely. Actively. Traditionally, fruitfully and productively, the International Medical Forum "Medicine - Innovations - The Nation’s Health" took place the main medical event of Ukraine on September 16-18 in Kyiv!

For the first time in Ukraine under quarantine conditions, the LMT Group of Companies managed to hold an exhibition event both offline and online, attracting a total of more than 12,000 specialists!

Due to the obstacles caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizer created all the necessary conditions for safe communication of the participants, visitors and guests of the Forum. The obligatory stay in a mask, temperature screening and hand disinfectants, which were concentrated on the territory of the ACCO International exhibition center, did not interfere with dating, communication and maintaining business relations!

How is medical reform implemented? What innovative technologies are being implemented in medical institutions? How much will the system of continuing medical education change? These and other issues were discussed by specialists whose activities are directly related to medicine! Scientists and doctors of various specialties, heads of health care institutions of various forms of ownership, medical directors and their deputies, developers of new technologies and IT programs, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, medical products and pharmaceuticals for medical institutions were invited to the discussion.

During the International Medical Forum, the International Healthcare Exhibition MEDICAEXPO took place, where companies presented a full range of medical equipment, appliances, instruments, medical devices and more at their stands. According to the participants themselves, the exhibition area is a hypermarket of medical equipment, where you can quickly and accurately choose the best option.

International Pharmaceutical Exhibition PHARMAEXPO - a platform where drugs, parapharmaceutical products, medical devices were presented. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about the comprehensive equipment of pharmacies, services for the pharmaceutical market.

The scientific-practical program of the Forum is implemented within the framework of the IX INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CONGRESS "Introduction of modern achievements of medical science in the healthcare practice of Ukraine". The Congress is included in the "Register of Congresses, Congresses, Symposia and Scientific-Practical Conferences to be held in 2020."

Visitors of the exhibition were given the opportunity to replenish their knowledge and learn new skills in the format of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, schools, workshops, which were held online and offline for the first time.

Every time the guests of the Forum get vivid impressions, generate original ideas, get acquainted with technological innovations and - most importantly! – together find solutions to acute problems.

Within the framework of the IX International Medical Congress more than 25 scientific-practical events and 20 master classes in the areas of "Organization and management of health care", "Private medicine", "Radiology: ultrasound diagnostics, conventional X-ray diagnostics, radiation diagnostics, computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, radiation safety", "General practice – family medicine", "Therapy, gastroenterology", "Emergency medicine and disaster medicine", "Surgery, neurosurgery" and "Traumatology", "Functional diagnostics", "Oncology", "Obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine", "Nursing".

During the scientific-practical conference "Innovative models of management and optimization of health care bodies, enterprises and institutions", organized by the Department of Health Management NMAPE named after PL Shupyk, a dialogue took place between medical directors and their deputies, heads of departments medical institutions of various medical profiles. The participants talked about the peculiarities of training heads of health care institutions, the peculiarities of control of knowledge of advanced training of doctors in full-time and part-time form with elements of distance learning, discussed the peculiarities of secondary inpatient care during health care reform.

The workshop "Actual organizational and legal issues of medical practice in the context of reforms: tasks and responsibilities of the head" (organizer - the magazine "Practice of medical institution management") was successfully held. The seminar reviewed the latest changes in regulations governing medical practice; conditions and procedure for obtaining a license for legal entities; current organizational, personnel and other issues in health care facilities in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic; scheduled and unscheduled inspections of health facilities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and other equally important issues.

Global standards for quality assurance in health care facilities were discussed at a seminar organized by the International School of Technical Legislation and Quality Management (ISTL) Training and Methodological Center. The seminar participants focused on solving topical issues such as: accreditation of medical laboratories in accordance with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO 15189: 2015, new approaches to quality management of medical care at the national level, the practice of implementing international standards in health care, risk management in a medical institution and other topics.

The scientific-practical conference "Possibilities of high-tech multimodal diagnostic methods", organized by the Department of Radiology of NMAPE named after PL Shupyk. This year the conference took place online and offline, which allowed more than 700 specialists from different parts of Ukraine to join the discussion.

Doctors of ultrasound diagnostics, radiologists, radiologists, oncologists were gathered by the scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of radiation diagnostics" organized by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Diagnostics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

No less interesting for specialists was the scientific-practical conference with international participation "Intensive Care in Oncoradiology" from the State Institution "Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology named after S.P. Grigoriev National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine".

ALL-UKRAINIAN SCHOOL OF ULTRASOUND AND FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTICS: it is better to see once than to hear a hundred times. The school was sponsored by Sinevo Ukraine Medical Laboratory.
The school was held online and offline! Participants of the two-day School, more than 5,500 specialists from Ukraine and abroad, learned about the current state of ultrasound diagnostics in Ukraine and the world, received information about ultrasound of the lungs in the COVID era, considered the features of remodeling of main arteries in patients with hepatocerebral dystrophy. post-radiation changes in the mammary glands and the practical use of Doppler in obstetrics. Thanks to the online broadcast, leading experts from other countries of the world shared their knowledge.
Business companies demonstrated their modern equipment in action to school students.

The organizers of the school were: Ukrainian Association of Ultrasound Diagnostics, Department of Radiology NMAPE named after PL Shupyk, LMT Group of Companies, market companies.

For the first time, the ALL-UKRAINIAN SCHOOL OF ULTRASOUND AND FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTICS FOR FAMILY DOCTORS was organized, where experts talked about ultrasound in the practice of a family doctor, considered portable ultrasound systems. The organizers were: Institute of Family Medicine NMAPE. PL Shupyk, Department of Radiology NMAPE named after PL Shupyk, Ukrainian Association of Ultrasound Diagnostics Specialists, International Society for Public Health, LMT Group of Companies, market companies.

For the sixth year in a row, therapists and family doctors are assembled by VI THERAPEUTIC SCHOOL "Modern approaches to diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of internal organs", organized by the Department of Therapy NMAPE named after PL Shupyk.

Problems of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system were considered at a symposium by the Institute of Gastroenterology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Specialists of the emergency medical service, medical staff of ambulances and emergency departments, hospital reception departments were gathered by the symposium "Current issues of emergency medicine and disaster medicine", which took place this year in online and offline format. The event was organized by: PL Shupyk NMAPE (Department of Emergency Medicine, Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Training); Center for Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine of the City of Kyiv; Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Department of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine); Zaporizhzhya Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Department of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine); NGO "All-Ukrainian Association of Emergency, Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine"; Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Ambulance.

Within the framework of the SCHOOL OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE, a number of master classes were held, they were considered and demonstrated using examples of the use of ultrasound in emergency conditions and in intensive care of adults and children (POCUS protocol, BLUE, FAST protocols), features of the TSSC and TESS protocol, basic and specialized maintenance of life.

In the direction of "SURGERY, NEUROSURGERY", a number of intense events took place - the scientific-practical conference "Interventional treatment of pain 2020" (organizers: State Institution "Institute of Neurosurgery named after Academician A.P. Romodanov of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine", Pain Medicine Journal, Clinical Hospital "Feofaniya "GUD, State Institution" Institute of Urology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine "NGO" Ukrainian Institute of Pain Research ", DoctorThinking Medical Society) and the scientific-practical conference "Diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the esophagus and esophageal-gastric junction" named after A.A. Shalimov of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”. Participants of the events received comprehensive information about the modern possibilities of surgical treatment of esophageal cancer, the peculiarities of anesthetic support of operations on the esophagus, considered problematic issues in the surgical treatment of hiatal hernia, modern aspects of the treatment of cardiac achalasia, and discussed issues such as steroid injection injections in the treatment of vertebrogenic pain, periradicular injections under CT navigation, neuromodulation in chronic pain: opportunities and prospects, ultrasound navigation in pain medicine and many other issues.

New technologies in orthopedics and traumatology were considered at the conference by specialists of the State Institution "Institute of Pathology of the Spine and Joints. prof. E. Sytenka of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine ".

At the scientific-practical conference "Surgical treatment of injuries in the elbow joint. Representatives of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine shared their knowledge on topical issues of diagnosis and treatment of the consequences of injuries in the ankle joint.

Many questions, lively discussions, interesting reports, modern methods of treatment were discussed at the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Cancer Institute "Modern strategy of radiation diagnosis and evaluation of treatment of the most common malignant tumors" (organizer - Research Department of Radiation Diagnostics National Institute cancer).

Experts of the National Cancer Institute considered topical and important issues at their scientific-practical conference "Modern trends in the treatment of cancer".

Representatives of the State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology" attracted the attention and involved in a lively discussion of obstetricians and gynecologists. ak. OHM. Lukyanova National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine "at the scientific-practical conference" Innovative approaches to preserving women's reproductive health ". No less interesting was the scientific-practical conference "Pregnancy and high-risk childbirth" from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №2 NMU. O.O. Bogomolets, where a number of topical issues were considered.

As always, the SCHOOL OF NURSING, organized by the Association of Nurses of Ukraine and the LMT Group of Companies, was a success.

What a nurse needs to know, the peculiarities of training specialists in emergency care in nursing, the principles of providing home care for injured in emergencies, the practice of hand hygiene in a pandemic - systemic errors, detection, consequences and methods of their elimination, minimizing the risk of infection in medical care care, COVID-19 as a nosocomial infection: effective prevention methods - all these and many other issues were addressed within the school. There were also a number of master classes on home care for the injured and sudden cardiac arrest.

Participants of scientific-practical events of the Congress received CERTIFICATES of advanced training, which give points according to the criteria for calculating points for continuous professional development.
